Scientist – F (Electrical): Selection will be done through interview

Scientist – C (Civil)/Scientist – B (Mechanical / Marine)/ Scientist – B (Civil): Selection will be done through Test / Interview

Technician – Grade – A (Electrician / Instrumentation): Selection will be done through Trade Test / Written Test and Skill Test

Application Fees :

Application fees for NIO Junior Secretariate Assistant 2021 is Rs. 100/-.

However, candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / Women / CSIR Employees category are exempted from payment of application fee.

Scientist – F (Electrical): Pay Level 13 (Rs. 131100 – 216600)
Scientist – C (Civil): Pay Level 11 (Rs. 67700 – 208700)
Scientist – B (Mechanical / Marine): Pay Level 10 (Rs.56100 – 177500)
Scientist – B (Civil): 1 post; UR
Technician – Grade – A (Electrician / Instrumentation): Pay Level 02 (Rs.19900 – 63200)

Educational Qualification:

Scientist – F (Electrical):

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Technology in relevant subject from a recognized University or its equivalent with at least First Class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level.
Experience: 16 years experience

Scientist – C (Civil):

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with at least First Class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level.
Experience: 03 years experience

Scientist – B (Mechanical / Marine):

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering from a recognized University with at least First Class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level.

Scientist – B (Civil):

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with at least First Class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level

Technician – Grade – A (Electrician / Instrumentation):

10th Class Pass (Secondary / Metric) of a recognized Board and ITI course in the trade of Electrician/ Instrumentation approved by National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent from recognized Institutions.
Basic knowledge of computer.
